Right Sharing of World Resources representative Karen Grisez gave a presentation at York when we hosted Warrington Quarterly Meeting in February. At lunch we shared a Real Simple Meal sampling foods from some of the countries served by RSWR and information about the diverse types of programs they offer based on local needs and resources. February 16, 7-9 pm, Seekers Anonymous, continuing discussion of two Pendle Hill Pamphlets: “In God We Live” by Warren Ostram and “Leading & Being Lead” by Paul Lacey.

February 20, 9:30 am, Warrington Quarterly Meeting, beginning with presentation by Karen Grisez on Right Sharing of World Resources, Meeting for Worship, a Real Simple Meal instead of usual feast, and business meeting after the meal.

March 26, 10 am-5 pm, Spring Interim Meeting at Langley Hill

June 25, 10 am-5 pm, Summer Interim Meeting at York

March 15 at 7PM at York College in Humanities 218 (Film viewing room) we will screen Big River and have a conversation with producer Aaron Woolf – this is the sequel to King Corn

March 17 at 6:30PM at York College Performing Arts Center  Presentation by Richard Ally—Climate Scientist and author of IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Report…We’ll also have tables set up in the lobby this evening for community organizations to have fliers or information
March 31 at 7PM at York College in Humanities 218 we will screen “Gasland” and have a follow-up discussion about the film

April 6 at 7PM at York College in  Humanities 218 we will have a lecture/discussion with Amy Korst  who went a year without producing trash - see her blog http://www.greengarbageproject.com/
